DEFFORT contains alkaloids that are responsible for its insecticide activity.
DEFFORT contains an aqueous extract of the roots of a Chinese shrub. Nowadays in China it is used in medicine against viral hepatitis, cancer and heart and skin diseases. It is also the base of several insecticides.
DEFFORT is only effective in the larval stage, so it is advisable to begin the treatment with the egg laying.
DEFFORT has the following advantages:
- Very low toxicity (LD50 higher than 4000 mg/Kg in rats)
- Doesn’t leave any residue on crops
- Doesn’t affect to useful fauna
- Can be mixed with other products
- Doesn’t create resistances
- Repellent effect after application
- Its effect lasts for 10 – 15 days
- High stability (due to manganese and zinc)
